Description
Storm 2 Vintage is the improved version of our long-time best-seller model Storm. Just like in the models Myth and Saga, we have changed the logic of how the bow is built from a straight riser to a curved riser. As a result, the limbs position at an angle that together with the radical reflex-deflex profile give the bow better peformance and higher shooting comfort. Storm 2, just like its predecessor, is most suitable for short range archery in tight situations (treestand, horseback, etc.), for trick-shooting or just for good fun recreational shooting.
As all Falco longbows, Storm 2 is hand-made in our workshop in Estonia to every last detail. And details is where the attention has really gone on this model. We pay particular attention to rounding all corners, making aesthetically pleasing tips, finishing each bow with impeccable lacquer quality, all the while keeping the bow profile sleek – as is known for all Falco longbows. The Storm 2 features our signature high wrist pistol grip, which is specifically designed to support the archer in a relaxed bow hand, which is the groundwork for an excellent archery form.
Design-wise, the Storm 2 can be customized across the whole range of our wood choices, both for handle and for the limb lamination.
The Storm 2 can be ordered with optional extras:
Carbon reinforcement | 20 € |
Diamond Carbon on front (extra high density carbon) | 40 € |
High gloss polished surface | 35 € |
Bamboo core | 20 € |
Khan cut (for shooting off the thumb) | 25 € |
FAQ ABOUT THIS MODEL
- What is the recommended brace height for this model?
We suggest testing it until you achieve the best arrow flight. A good level to start testing is at around 6.5 inches. - Is string included? What sort of a string?
Yes, the model comes with a Spectra Flemish string. The number of string strands depends on the weight of the bow (14, 16 or 18) - Is this model IFAA/NFAA legal in ‘longbow’ division?
No, because it is a hybrid longbow (= has a small recurve) - Is this model WA legal in ‘longbow’ division?
No, because it is too short to qualify as a longbow in World Archery - What arrows would you recommend for this bow?
Although all main types of arrows (wooden, aluminum, carbon) could be used with this bow, the authentic choice would be to use wooden arrows. For optimum performance and highest quality, we suggest our hand-picked Premium model arrows which are the choice for many European and World Champions and medalists. The choice of wooden arrows depends on your bow and your own personal characteristics (write email@falco.ee in case of questions).
