Falco Legend is the most manufactured Falco longbow model, which rightfully according to its name has already turned into a Legend by now. The protoypes of it were already made in 1997 when Falco produced its first ten longbows for the Robin Hood theatrical act in Tartu. That was the beginning of the Falco longbow legacy which now - more than 10 years later, has turned well-known if not to say phenomenal in the archery world.
The First European Champion title to Falco (out of the tens and tens) was also won with a Legend bow when Tapani Säila was crowned as the 1999 IFAA Male European Field Archery Champion. In the years, the Falco collection has grown significantly with more efficient and custom-made bows but the Legend has not lost its spark and importance as a wonderful bow - rather vice versa even. Every year, we have produced vastly more than the previous year and the sales of Legend has spread to most of the region being the sole motor behind the popularization of longbow shooting in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and by now also in Russia.
In July 2010 a 50# Falco Legend was reviewed in the independent British traditional archery review site Archers Review. See the review HERE
Legend is with a reflex-profile which means that the tips of the limbs are slightly bent forward. The riser part is straight and the handle itself is ergonomically designed and also includes the "Falco finger-cut" which gives the palm even better grip on the handle.

FAQ about this model
- What is the recommended brace height for this model?
We suggest starting to test arrow flight at around brace height 7.5" but optimal arrow flight is what will determine the best brace height. On this bow, you are most likely to find optimal flight between 7" - 8", but may experiment also with longer (up to 8.5")
- Is string included? What sort of a string?
Yes, the model comes with a Dacron string. The number of string strands depends on the weight of the bow (14, 16 or 18)
- Is this model IFAA/NFAA legal?
- Is this model WA legal?
- Can this model be cut past centre?
No, this is a basic recreational model which is not customizable to centre or past centre cut
- What arrows would you recommend for this bow?
Although all main types of arrows (wooden, aluminum, carbon) could be used with this bow, the authentic choice would be to use wooden arrows. For optimum performance and highest quality, we suggest our hand-picked Premium model arrows which are the choice for many European and World Champions and medalists. The choice of wooden arrows depends on your bowand your own personal characteristics (write firstname.lastname@example.org in case of questions).
